Front Office Opportunity with top Tier Investment Firm

We are looking for a strong junior Java/C++ Developer with a background in computer science/mathematics. The candidate will work as a team member with senior developers on the credit derivatives front desk. The work will consist of enhancing systems and working closely with traders and middle office. The candidate needs to be able to architect and help design new front end applications. Strong communication skills are a requirement. Knowledge of other programming languages (perl/ksh/c# ) and database knowledge (Sybase/Oracle) is a plus. The candidate needs to be familiar with java swing components. The role allows for strong growth opportunities. We are looking for a candidate that has the potential to grow into a senior role

They are looking at candidates 1-2 years out of top schools and Mid to sr. candidates currently working on a credit derivatives desk.
