JAVA developers (perm or consulting) 70-100k for FT Las Vegas, Nevada vicinity

They will provide some relocation assistance to strong candidates, who are interested in moving to Las Vegas.

Client is located in the Las Vegas area. They need several JAVA developers, either perm or consulting. Positions are for Technical Lead or an Architecture role. This will be a open ended assignment for long term. Please let me know the required rate when you present consultants. I have full specs on both positions, please let me know if you would like to see them.

1.JAVA Developer to work as technical lead.

2+ years experience required

Design, code and test

Mentor junior developers

Work on multi tier object oriented distributed applications

Qualifications:

Prior experience in object-oriented design methodology

J2EE is required

Experience working on an ecommerce application

Project experience with JRun application server

Required Technical Skills:

J2EE, OO Design, RDMBs, MS SQL, XML, HTTP/HTML, XSLT and knowledge of NT and UNIX

2. JAVA Developer responsible for making architectural and design decisions

Design and implement multi tier distributed applications

Make architectural decisions and plans

Act as technical lead

Design, code, test applications

Qualifications:

5+ years experience

2+ years experience in an architectural role

2+ years experience as a project lead

Object-Oriented design methodology and application development in JAVA, J2EE, Servlets, JSP JAVA Beans and JDBC

Extensive experience working with XML/XSL/XPATH

Knowledge of SQL databases, HTTP/HTML UNIX and NT

Strong Object Oriented modeling using UML Methodology
