Mechanical Engineer - (US-NY-Rochester)

Compensation: $90K - $105K

PAID RELOCATION
Successful candidate must be able to take Division’s Mechanical Engineering needs and identify what portion could be outsourced, and by whom. Specifics include:
1) Writing a Statement of Work (SOW)
2) Vetting out mechanical design firms
3) Working directly with the Principle Engineer on the project
4) Working with Subcontracts
5) Managing the schedule and budget of the project

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering is required. Equivalent engineering degree is acceptable. An MBA is desirable.
Candidate must have at least 7 years of applicable experience in Mechanical Engineering.
Proficiency in the use of Pro/Engineering design tool.

Experience:
Candidate must have experience in mechanical design engineering.
Working knowledge of PWB layout using Mentor’s PADS and Valor’s verification tool.
Experience in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing.
Must have previous experience in outsourcing engineering activities.
Positions may require citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances. This position requires a current Secret type clearance. Additional clearances may also be required.
Candidate Must Have :

* Security Clearance
* Bachelor's in Industrial or Mechanical, MBA desirable
* Minimum 7 years applicable experience in Mechanical
