Peoplesoft Application Administrator 100-120

We are looking for a PeopleSoft Administrator who will provide techno-functional support for PeopleSoft Financials. The ideal candidate should be a Functional Consultant with extensive experience in production support with expertise in the PeopleSoft Financials 8.4 module.

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying system and business process enhancements that incorporate best practices
• Performing Business Needs Assessments to define targets of opportunity for process and system solutions.
• Designing identified system improvements and controls to enhance customer satisfaction, and mitigate chronic system problems causing repetitive trouble tickets.
• Responding to helpdesk questions by identifying solutions and working with system users to resolve issues.
• Documenting procedures and common resolutions.
• Maintaining, updating, and creating PeopleSoft application fixes, configuration, specifications and testing.
• Testing PeopleSoft application updates and fixes, patches, and configuration updates.
• Evaluating and scoping work effort of customizations
• Designing, creating and maintaining automated interfaces/inputs (and conversions) to and from the various PeopleSoft modules and related to systems.
• Developing/modifying and supporting SQR processes and reports.
• Planning, organizing, and executing system upgrades
• Identifying, analyzing, and applying fixes
• Adherence to change control policies

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years experience as a PeopleSoft Systems Administrator implementing and supporting PeopleSoft financials. Past experience must include installing and maintaining PeopleSoft 8 applications on Sun/Oracle platforms. The candidate must also have a thorough understanding of the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture, possess a broad knowledge of Finance business functions and processes and be proficient in SQL/SQR, PeopleSoft Query Tool & Crystal. Experience in Oracle, NT environment preferred. The candidate will also need to work closely with functional power users and be able to translate business needs into system/application operation.
