Product Manager

Department: Product & Strategy
Salary Range: $90-$105K

Overview

The candidate will be the Product Manager for Derivative Confirmation and for our SWIFT Service Bureau to manage products through the product lifecycle and develop, communicate and deliver the product roadmap consistent with market opportunities and the SPR to maximize product revenue and profitability.

The Role

This successful candidate will:

· Produce and manage the Product Roadmap to ensure internal and external customers understand development schedule.

· Prioritize development schedule to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.

· Create Business cases for Product Board submissions and approval to improve the functionalities of products in the market

· Adherence to PMP to capture and process market and customer requirements

· Ensure cross-product opportunities and synergies are maximized

· Develop Business Requirements Definitions (BRDs) to ensure developments are formally briefed on requirements.

· Oversee creation of product release plans for Development, QA, sales and marketing, launch, deployment, training, infrastructure and support to ensure successful deployment.

· Ensure effective co-ordination of Beta Tests for new releases to ensure product quality.

· Provide input to the production of internal/external product literature content, including user guides

· Measure and analyze customer satisfaction for the product and recommend action to address the issues.

· In conjunction with Product Marketing, ensure that packaging, pricing and commercial manual is up to date to ensure competitive selling price to the market

· Be responsive to product queries beyond the capabilities of the support infrastructure from both internal and external sources

· Create and maintain relationships with key reference customers and user group

· Maintain and communicate an expert understanding of the Treasury & Capital Markets along with the key business issues and revenue opportunities.

Skills required

The following skills are essential:

· 3 years + experience of Product Management within the financial market.

· Demonstrable understanding of Treasury & Capital Markets practices with emphasis on Derivatives processing.

· 3 years + people management experience.

· SWIFT and/or Treasury Workstation applications (SWIFT experience is preferable)

· Implementation/professional services

· Pre-sales experience a plus

· Market research

· Business Analysis

· Functional specifications
