Senior Systems Analyst - Oracle Financial – to 110k

Location: Lake Success, Long Island

• B.S. Degree and 5+ Years of Experience in a functional/technical support role in the specified area of expertise (see below).
• Mix of functional/technical skills should be approximately 50% functional and 50% technical
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Experienced in process strategy and re-engineering concepts and practices
• Experience with System Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Design and Development
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advises on alternatives and on the implications of new or revised processing analysis. Serve as trusted advisor to the business regarding how the system can be used to support desired business processes and requirements.
• Document functional requirements in development-ready functional specifications.
• Propose and/or recommend process and system improvements
• Conducts feasibility studies including industry best practices.
• Experienced in unit and integrated testing and preparing test scripts.
• Experienced in monitoring and resolving daily production support issues including debugging transactions as necessary
• Competence in Change Management and all phases of Project Management

Business Knowledge

• Strong understanding of finance and administrative processes and concepts including:
• Financial Reporting
• General Accounting
• Accounts Payable
• Fixed Asset Management
• Expense Purchasing
• Strong understanding of Oracle Financials modules including GL, AP, iExpense, PO, and FA.
