TITLE: Accountant

SALARY: Range starting at 67k

DESCRIPTION: Daily reconciliations related to the trading summary, preparation and review of daily bank reconciliation, preparation of month end entries including leases, assisting in quarterly reporting to head office. Reconciliation of various accounts and follow up on differences.

Chart of accounts maintenance.

EXPERIENCE: 6 years experience in public or private financial services, bank or brokerage industry. BS in Accounting required. MBA/CPA or pursuing a plus. Would prefer a candidate from a public/private accounting firm.

SKILLS: Excel spreadsheet with some knowledge of complex formulas and macros. Must have experience with analysis and financial statements.

Audit experience is preferred, but not necessary.
