Requisition Radical Sr. Software Engineer - Client

Position / Title Sr. Developer with UI emphasis
Application is:. The Radical Equities Cash and Derivatives (Options & Futures) trading platform includes Radical Client XE (GUI) and server side subsystems (Execution, Best Price Routing and Market Data).
Responsibilities of the Initial Assignment (What will the person be doing?) Hands-on development under guidance of project management on the development of Radical client XE and servers with C++/MFC, C#/.NET and RDMBS on Windows. Work in an Agile (XP) Development environment
Essential Technical Knowledge / Skills What level of expertise is needed? 1 = Familiar With 3 = Working Knowledge of 5 = Expert 5 in C++, MFC, C# and related libraries such as STL 5 multithreading and high performance UI experience 4 in OO design and programming (UML, C++, C#, etc) 4 on design patterns and best practices
Other Desired Skills / Experience Solid working knowledge of financial systems, especially those with comparable trading systems Knowledge of equity markets and trading systems are highly desired Options and Futures experience is highly desired Experience with EU and Canadian equities trading systems is a plus
Will this position include production support responsibilities? To what extent? Yes - On-going support and troubleshooting - approximately 10%
Degree Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
