Required Skills: Strong Process discipline as well as Strong Information Assurance & Enterprise Security Architecture skills.

Desired Skills: SW Lifecycle experience as well as a good understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enter prise Service Bus (ESP), and Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework Concepts

Job Description: This candidate will design and define system architecture for new or existing complex computer sysems as well as determine systems specifications, input/output processes and work parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security. The candidate will also coordinate the design of subsystems and integration of total system. Must identify, analyze and resolve program support deficiencies as well as develop and recommend corrective actions. The candidate may provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.
Key responsibilities are as follows:
-Analyze enterprise information assurance requirements
-Develop a recommended security architecture that supports
SOA and ESB technologies within a federated, Wev Services
based environment.
-Present the information assurance architecture effectively
at design meetings.
-Perform trade studies, technology readiness assessments,
and specification analysis.
-Research information assurance standards protocols and
technologies to meet enterprise-levle requirements.
-Recommend optimal approach for migrating to the target
architecture and for integrating/transitioning legacy
systems.
-Author technically complex sections of the architecture
design documentation and ensure that the architecture is
accurately presented in the design documentation.
-Contribute to estimating cost by providing direct input
and evaluating inputs from others.

Specific Task Responsibilities may include the following:
-Target Architecture Analysis, Use Case analysis and
Scenario development.
-Synthesis of evolving customer needs and determinatino of
impacts to baseline security architecture and development
of a transition strategy.
-Development/refinement of information assurance
architecture definition at the sub-system/component level
including development of coarse-grained and/or fine
grained access control approaches.
-Definition of internal and external interface
requirements, interface abstraction approaches, and data
exchanges.
-Vunlnerability assessments and risk mitigation
-Architectural assessments, presentations, white papers and
other analyses, as required.
-Architecture documentation using design aids (System
Architect, Visio, or PowerPoint)

Candidate Must Have :
* Bachelors degree w/14+ years experience OR Masters degree w/12+ years experience
* Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
* Strong team work, interpersonal, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
* Active Top Secret Clearance
