Unix Administrator

As a Unix Administrator you must have at least 6 years experience working with the Solaris Operating Systems, working knowledge of both Linux and Sun Server hardware.

Additionally:

• Should have thorough knowledge of at least two of the following: Linux on distributed platform, Legato Networker, Sybase, Informix, Tumbleweed/Valicert, Checkpoint Firewalls, Peoplesoft and Project management.
• Should have strong knowledge in network protocols for networking in a heterogeneous environment.
• Strong knowledge of analytical techniques as well as using OS and third party vendor tools when applicable. Fundamental knowledge in two or more of the following: PGP, CA-Unicenter, CA-Autosys, CA-Etrust, Server backup/recovery, project management tool and/or methodology.
• Must have at least intermediate Project Management experience.
• Must be flexible to staying late/coming in early, night time support, weekend work and be able to report to 24/7 coverage if needed.
