The person is responsible for working with auditors to design effective solutions to analyze data on both distributed and mainframe platforms within the Corporation for the purpose of supporting Audits. Additionally, the individual will support intranet-based administrative applications within the Department. The job includes working closely with requestors and system contacts to refine specifications, develop and deliver solutions. Our projects are diverse and can include analyzing applications ranging from desktop to mainframe, ad-hoc reporting on corporate information, and building department applications.

The qualified candidate will have 2+ years of application programming experience in a 4th generation programming language such as SAS. S/He should have strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills. Experience with the following languages and technologies is preferred, but is not required; XML, HTML, Cold Fusion MX, harvest, relational databases (specifically, MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, and MS Access): SQL; UNIX shell scripting; Visual Basic; C++. A familiarity with various data analysis tools is beneficial.
