HR – Director,
Purpose:
As the Director, Human Resources you will lead a team of HR professionals supporting Corporate business units throughout the
Principle Accountabilities:
The Director, Human Resources will lead his/her HR team to:
- Directs the day-to-day operations of the HR Services center including communications between departments, achieving operational goals, creating and implementing administrative procedures. Ensures that the HR Services Center provides a high quality of customer service through standardization of operating procedures, workforce planning, and performance monitoring.
- Designing, drive and implement targeted people strategies for the organization which would support and drive their key business objectives. This includes integration and execution of core HR programs and activities, focused and innovative initiatives to address specific needs within the organization
- Ensure the effective deployment of Corporate HR strategies, processes, policies, systems, and metrics that contribute to the success of the business. Work with regional Business leaders to effectively develop and deploy Segment HR strategies (such as talent acquisition, retention and development, performance management, workforce planning, reward and recognition, and organizational design) that align with the business strategy and regional environment, and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the Segment.
- Work with the regional business leaders to develop the regional leadership team to ensure we have talent in place to ensure sustainable achievement of the Company's mission, vision, values, strategy, and goals.
- Effectively investigate and resolve internal and external employee complaints, and successfully manage governmental audits.
- Coordinate the delivery of cyclical HR activities and employee communications.
- Plan, budget, and manage HR costs for the region in line with Corporate objectives.
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
- Must be able to multi-task, deal with ambiguity, work effectively in a team environment, recognize trends, manage and develop team, and identify systematic approaches to solving problems in this fast moving, dynamic environment.
- An appropriate undergraduate degree with 10+ years of progressive experience in human resources in a leadership position with proven strategic and tactical success.
- Broad knowledge of all HR functions, with significant experience involving employee relations, compliance, staffing, compensation, workforce and succession planning, and organizational development, in a multi-state environment, preferably for a global company.
- The ability to collaborate across boundaries, disciplines, and cultures.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to quickly build rapport with and influence senior management in a matrix reporting environment.
- Sound judgment, initiative, tenacity, and the flexibility to operate independently in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
- Superb analytical and consulting skills, with a track record of identifying issues and formulating solutions.
- Experience successfully performing due diligence and integrating merged and acquired companies.
