Basic Function:

The Branch Manager is responsible for the operational integrity and customer satisfaction of all IT systems and services in the regional office. Other responsibilities include proper administration and allocation of all services, overall direction and control of the branch IT staff under the direction and guidance of the global governance models and standards as defined by the global CTO / CIO. The Branch Manager will also be the primary point of contact for branch business units and other ITG departments.

Primary Responsibility:

1.	40%	Responsible for the overall direction and control of the IT staff. Maintain processes and procedures that ensure high availability, operational integrity and customer satisfaction for all ITG systems and services.
2.	15%	Ensure that all inventory systems are being kept current, that expenses are allocated, and that all invoices/ vendor bills are diligently reviewed for accuracy.
3.	10%	Implement and maintain processes and procedures that ensure high availability, operational integrity, and customer satisfaction for all IT services to the business.
4.	10%	Create intimate working relationship with the branch business unit managers built on trust and respect.
5.	10%	Engage and maintain regular contact and feedback with relevant business and ITG management to ensure that all operational requirements are met
6.	10%	Participate in branch business unit meetings for the execution of ITG strategy and coordination of activities of other ITG Managers.
7.	5%	Assist business units with budgets and control costs and forecast future expenses.

Skills Required:

· Must have five plus years experience managing a technology support team in a financial environment.

· Must have a strong technical and functional understanding of UNIX, NT, MDS products, network equipment and services, voice and video services and PC desktop / servers.

· Must be strong in Project Management.

· Must have a strong understanding of the investment banking industry.

· Must have strong managerial skills possessing both the ability to lead and motivate a team of highly skilled individuals.

· Must have excellent problem solving skills.

· Must be detail oriented.

· Must be able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment.

· Strong interpersonal skills.

· As a member of the European Operations Committee ensure that IT deliverables for European business initiatives are clearly understood and communicated throughout ITG globally.
