operations supervisor salary around 75-80K NYC

  We are looking for an experienced supervisor for our OTC Settlements and Trade Support group for our Midtown Manhattan location. A person in this position will work with domestic and offshore hedge funds employing complex derivatives trading strategies.

  
  Responsibilities include:

• Managing our clients’ OTC Trade Support and Settlements process
• Performing OTC derivative reconciliations between client risk system and counterparties
• Extensive client and counterparty interaction to manage down position and cash risk
• Building and maintaining client relationships
• Interacting with the greater OTC Derivatives team, Fund Accounting, Valuations, etc.
• Utilizing DTCC /Deriv Serv and other electronic matching services
• Growth into more senior roles by establishing a track record of achievement and success

Job requirements/skills include:

• Bachelors Degree – All majors considered
• Knowledge of OTC products including interest rate, credit, equity and/or FX derivatives preferred
• Experience at a top tier firm or other large broker dealer is preferred
• Clear, concise, and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Innovative self-starter who is diligent and continually strives for excellence
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Solid Excel skills
