Oracle 10G Applications DBA - $90K-105K

Database Administration team supporting Oracle 11i Apps, Custom J2EE applications on Oracle 10g Application server, and various database projects needs a senior level administrator to support custom java apps written in-house. Apps utilize the Oracle database project extensively, so some familiarity with Oracle DB is required as well.

Skills must include:

· Oracle 10g Application Server administration for OC4J, clustering, HTTP Server, Oracle Portal, and single-sign on.

· Java J2EE application support and troubleshooting

Additional skills should include:

· Some Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

· UNIX/Linux scripting and troubleshooting

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills. This person should be able to interact with developers, project managers, and testers while working towards project milestones. We need someone who will take ownership of a technical challenge, gather necessary info and take pride in presenting a solution.

Oracle Applications DBA 11i - $90K-100K

Candidate must have a strong proficiency in:

· Oracle 11i eBusiness Suite Applications Administration and maintenance, including Workflow and HR, financials modules, customization handling, cloning, and database administration.

Additional skills should include familiarity strong experience with:

· Core Database administration, database creation, backups, upgrades, patches, security admin, etc. RAC experience a plus.

· Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and database performance tuning

· UNIX/Linux scripting and troubleshooting
