Manages an assigned client base with the support of the department and servicing teams. Provides the necessary technical and administrative support to service the needs of the clients. Essential Functions � Responsible for the full service of assigned client base. � Annual review of account with each client, in person, telephone or by mail. � Underwriting: Re-marketing accounts when necessary due to customer dissatisfaction or adverse action by company. � Production: Responsible for account development on existing clients in an effort to write all personal coverages. � Recommending coverage enhancements, additions or deletions of necessary or duplicate coverages. � Maintains expiration control and prepares the necessary information for renewals of all Personal Lines coverages. � Submits applications to approved insurance companies in an effort to provide the broadest coverage at the most competitive premium. � Monitors claims until conclusion. � Accountable for the accurate accomplishment of all services provided to the client base assigned. � May be team leader. � Work with the teams to ensure adherence to defined workflows and responsibilities. � Involvement in Continuing Education Programs. Knowledge and Skills Required: � High school diploma or equivalent. � Five + years experience in account servicing. � Valid Property & Casualty License. � Thorough knowledge of personal insurance. � Excellent written and verbal communication skills. � Excellent typing and keyboard skills. � Proficient in Excel, Word and Database Programs � Excellent time-management and organization skills. � Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables. � Above average mathematical skills. Preferred: � Sagitta Experience � Management/Supervisory Experience � Insurance Designation
