Description:

QA Engineer

Software Development Company in NJ area specializing in the design and development of recording and evaluation systems for contact call centers seeks Quality Assurance Engineer. Knowledge of CTI servers and/Telephony Switches (PBX) – Avaya, Nortel, Genesys, Cisco Call Manager and telephony/communications (VOIP,E1/T1, ISDN, analog, etc.) a plus. Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and a strong understanding of software testing methodologies a must. BS in IT related field +3 years software testing experience in related industry a must. Familiarity with automated testing tools (WinRunner/LoadRunner) a plus. Benchmark testing / load testing / stress testing a plus

Supervision:

Responsibilities: Ideal candidate is required to write test documentation at all levels - Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Cases and execute Test Cases.

Requirements:

Competencies:

- Knowledge of CTI servers and telephony switches

- Knowledge in automatic or performance testing

- Strong understanding of testing methodologies

Interpersonal Skills:

- Proven ability to gain cooperation of others, proven leadership skills

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education/Experience:

- BS in IT

- 3+ years software testing experience in related industry

- Familiar with automated testing tools
