SENIOR STORAGE ADMINISTRATOR


DESCRIPTION:
An exciting opportunity exists within the Systems R&D group for a Senior
Storage Administrator. Qualified candidates must have 6+ years experience
with large SAN infrastructure involving EMC and Brocade hardware servicing
primarily Unix (AIX/Solaris) hosts. Excellent technical skills and
experience with designing and managing large-scale and complex SAN/NAS
storage arrays required, along with strong communication skills. Must be
capable of writing technical documentation, making presentations to an
internal audience, interacting positively with upper management and outside
vendors.


REQUIREMENTS:
Experience working with EMC PowerPath and EMC Control Center. Knowledge of
EMC SRDF a plus. A solid understanding of AIX and/or Solaris. Knowledge
of Linux or Windows a plus. A good working knowledge of NAS, preferably
Netapp or EMC Celerra. Ability to write scripts in an administrative
language (perl, shell scripts). Strong inter-personal skills. Capable of
communicating effectively in oral/written format. Capable of independant
problem solving, self-motivated and self-directed.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent required.
