/Senior Financial Analyst - 70-90K

Sr. Financial Analyst paying 70-90K based on experience. Looking for someone who is looking for opportunity to grow within the organization!!!!!

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial and operational support in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, month end closes and business planning.

Responsibilities include:

• Work with business leaders to build and analyze budgets and forecasts
• Work closely with operations to develop tools and analyses to increase the productivity/profitability of business units
• Assist business units with analysis of new initiatives, programs, promotions and other business development opportunities
• Report on financial results and key metrics against appropriate base comparisons (prior year, budget, reforecast); perform in-depth analyses to prepare and present business projections & deviations from plan
• Develop ad-hoc reports using Excel and FRX

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in finance or accounting
• 5-7 years of experience within an accounting or finance department; work experience in publishing or media is a big plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; excellent proficiency in Excel
• Solomon and FRX experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Proven track record of system implementation and enhancement
• CPA/MBA preferred (but not required)

This person must have strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills as he/she will be dealing with all levels of business.
