Challenges are to engineer highly performing, secure & scalable Web UI, middle tier and Web API E-commerce applications that serve extremely large volume of requests. The position involves technical design, architecture, implementation and recommending design patterns, policies, coding standards, guidelines and procedures. The person needs to be passionate about software and adept at dealing with challenges regularly. You need to have strong design skills, great coding ability in C# with experience on the Microsoft .NET runtime, a strong track record of shipping secure, high quality software through all phases of the product cycle, and experience in writing server-grade code. Working knowledge of CLR profiling and Application performance tuning and diagnosis would be preferred.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• At least 8-10 years industry experience out of which 5 years of strong "Hands-On" n-tier application development.
• At least 2 years experience on leading a team of 3 or more full time employees.

Required Abilities
• Solid experience with C++, COM+, .Net framework class library, ASP.Net 2.0, C#, ADO.Net, SOAP, XML Web Services.
• Demonstrated ability to architect high performance middleware and Web-API.
• Strong background on software development processes, patterns and practices and object oriented programming.
• Proven track record on leading, motivating and coaching people.
• Experience with E-commerce sites, Performance testing and tuning, application security architecture & threat modeling.
• Experiences with TDD, test automation and agile programming models.
• Good understanding of IIS 6.0, load balancing, web farms, clustering.
• Understanding of database design, architecture and Transact SQL using SQL 2000.

Huge Plus
• Good understanding of DHTML, XML, XSL, JavaScript, JSON and AJAX implementation.
• Hands-on programming in non-MS technologies like Java, Perl and PHP
• Experience in implementing cross browser web applications supporting IE, Firefox, Netscape and Safari.
• Experience in web design with an understanding of visual interface design, site architecture and site usability issues.
