Senior Staff Accountant, up to $75k DOE Midtown NYC –

CPA a plus ( not a must )

Ideally:

2-4 years public acct, firm experience.

Or 2 yrs public / 3 yrs Retail, manufacturing, or financial

Reporting to the Asst. Controller

The primary lead on our monthly financial reporting package

Must have experience working with outside auditors ( such as Deloitte , E & Y, KPMG etc )

for the yearly financial close

Handle majority of entries and analysis.

Investigate new accounting pronouncements and how they relate to our company.

Special projects as needed.

Excellent communication skills.

Excellent excel spreadsheet skills.
