TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER JOB

The technical project manager will be a hands-on technical leader who is
responsible for planning, coordinating and managing resources as well as
directly contributing to the technical product. This position will be
responsible for managing project team personnel, monitoring
deliverables, interacting with clients & third parties, defining the
overall project architecture, ensuring proper communication between team
members and serving as an interface to the customer.

The Technical Project Manager acts as the *honest broker* between
business and technology, and facilitates communications between the
solution development team and the business sponsor in order to maximize
information sharing, manage expectations, resolve problems and effect a
productive working relationship among all team members.

Duties:

* Achieves project operational objectives by contributing information
and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and
completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality,
and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits;
identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing
change.

* Meets project financial objectives by forecasting requirements;
scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective
actions.

* Maintains information system by developing and enforcing documentation
requirements; enforcing change control.

* Protects organization's value by designing and enforcing security
systems; keeping analytical information confidential.

* Improves quality of results by implementing unit, system and
integration testing cycles.

* Maintains product quality by designing and executing testing.

Experience:

BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced technical degrees are desirable. A
minimum of ten (5) years of work experience in technology systems
development, delivery and project management, including familiarity with
milestone-based product delivery methodology.

Business process and systems analysis experience with companies creating
and enhancing web-based products or services, particularly software
applications.

Ability to perform against tight deadlines.

The candidate must be a skilled professional who applies a broad basis
of existing theories, principles, and concepts to software quality
assurance, software engineering and project management. The candidate
must have experience in software engineering, software development or
software project management . The candidate will have a strong awareness
of software engineering standards and their application.
