Algorithmic QA Analyst (1 FT role)

Job Description:

• Must have Business knowledge and experience as it applies to trading applications.
• Must have some level of understanding of Algorithmic trading strategies.
• Must be comfortable with FIX protocol and be able to troubleshoot orders in FIX logs.
• Must have prior experience working with an Equity Order Management System.
• Must have intermediate level of UNIX and Database skills.
• Must understand SDLC and be able to take necessary steps to apply it to the QA process.
• Must be able to use QA tools such as Mercury Quality Center to create/execute test cases as well as log defects and follow up on defects.
• Plus: Understanding of Algorithmic trading strategies (VWAP / TWAP / SOR – Smart Order Routing)
• Knowledge of compliance related reports as it applies to trading (OATS / OTS / DPTR) is a plus.
• Automation knowledge and experience in automating web-based GUI is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience working with shell scripts would be helpful but not required.

Job Description:

• Experience in Equities Trading applications (OTC preferred)
• Experience on FIDESSA (Royal Blue Application), Brass, Lava OMS, Nyfix – Renaissance or in-house cash equities order management systems is a Plus
• QA Experience at least 5 years
• Familiarity with UNIX Commands & SQL
• Basic understanding of the SDLC process.
• Automation Experience with Trading Applications is a Plus.
• Experience on Mercury Tools - Mercury Quality Center and Quick Test Pro is a Plus
