Enterprise Architect to $135K - Jersey City

Job: Enterprise Architect $120-135K Plus Bonus

The Enterprise Architect will have a solid understanding of mainstream technologies powering all aspects of the businesses including ERP, Business Intelligence, Information Retrieval, CRM, Accounting, Ad Serving and transactional commerce and possess abilities to translate their knowledgebase into software code development and component integration. The candidate will work in close collaboration with the CTO and the Directors of Software Development for each of the business units, and the lead architects assigned to each of the business units to most efficiently develop resources that can benefit each of the units individually as well as be shared across units.

Responsibilities:
*Guide the development teams.
*Instill best practices across all development efforts.
*Manage R&D for both next generation product development and new product development.
*Assist in resource planning and allocation.
*Participate in buy/build decisions

Qualifications:

*Bachelors Degree in Information Systems (or other computer-related discipline) or equivalent experience
*Experience designing and deploying Enterprise Software Applications on industry standard frameworks required.
*Excellent application development skills with tools like Java, JSP/Servlets, EJBs, XML, & the like.
*Strong object oriented programming skills.
*Experience with SOA and Web Services is required.
*Experience with high-transaction systems is strongly encouraged.
*Experience with tools & frameworks such as LAMP, AJAX, & Ruby on Rails is a plus.
*Must be an experienced team leader.
*Ability to think creatively and suggest alternative development solutions.
*Ability to complete projects on a timely basis with minimal supervision.
*Strong verbal and written communications skills.
*Substantial real-world experience and prior involvement working on high-visibility software projects and managing multiple projects concurrently
