Researches, analyzes and documents moderate to complex financial analysis projects within assigned department. Prepares and analyzes operating and strategic plans, including quarterly forecasts. MUST have direct modeling experience in an insurance company. .
Provide financial and technical expertise on projects requiring highly complex financial analysis. Work on cross-functional teams with other departments, as appropriate.
Analyze the potential financial consequences of alternative business decisions relating to profit opportunities and significant capital expenditures.
Prepare analysis and interpretation of financial statements and related reports. Design complex worksheets and/or databases for tracking and reporting.
Review and guide work of less experienced personnel to verify accuracy of information used for financial analyses, using internal and external reports, other departments, and published data.
Incumbent should possess a Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or mathematics. Minimum of four years proven financial and/or business analysis and planning.

Proficiency in Excel and Access required.
Direct modeling experience in an insurance company is a must. Experience in acquisition pricing and familiarity with building database queries desirable.
