Job description: Java Architect / Tech Lead - IMD - Jersey City - will

> not have anyone reporting them necessarily, needs to be very hands on.

> 120 base max for right talent

>

> Looking for individual who will be responsible for

> architecting/implementing a system that will handle the processing of

> investment data for enhanced reporting for IMD division for WMR

> project.

>

> Specific Responsibilities

> * Architect, Design, Develop, implement and maintain subsystems

> under WMR umbrella.

> * Participate in the technical direction of the system

> * Design review new projects.

> * Prepare project plans and status reports for projects; and

> provide updates to direct manager

> * Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and Regression for projects

> * Working closely with teams in NY and India

>

> Essential Requirements

> * Minimum of 10 or more years of experience including design,

> development, implementation and maintenance of large scale project

> using tools and technologies including Java, J2EE and related

> technologies

> * Knowledge of Design patterns is required

> * JMS and/or TIBCO Messaging experience

> * Working knowledge XML, XML Schema, X-Path, X-Query etc

> * Experience with Weblogic

> * Good knowledge of RDBMS / SQL

> * Knowledge of Unix/Linux, CVS, ANT building tools etc

> * Significant experience and knowledge in infrastructure and

> back-end processing. Processing knowledge & experience of investment

> data is a must.

> * Experience in requirement gathering and understanding

> * Experience in coming up with technical architecture of large

> scale projects to fit into existing infrastructure

> * The position requires good communication and presentation skills

> with the ability to interact with users

> * Team player and proven ability to work under pressure and meet

> project dates

> * Adopt best practices in his/her work in accordance with Lehman

> best practices for design and implementation.

> * Demonstrated leadership of multidiscipline, high performance

> work teams/groups and an established track record of leading technical

> staff through the project development life-cycle phases

> * Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership

> with exceptional abilities in relationship management

> * Strong organizational skill and familiarity with project

> management and application system life cycle

> * Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to

> interact with variety of customers and stakeholders

> Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
