Job Description

As an Applications Developer, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain web-based applications using ASP.Net. You will also be required to maintain and enhance existing smart-client applications using the .Net framework.

Job Specification

Design & develop enhancements to existing web based applications

Design and develop the desktop applications to support our business process

Develop electronic interfaces with data sources to eliminate manual entry

Maintain existing desktop and web-based applications

Provide regular status updates on projects, including progress updates and identification of technical risks & issues associated with assigned tasks

Stay abreast of changes in technology as it relates to software development

Evaluate project requirements, participate in design meetings, determine the best solution to a problem or feature

Education / Experience Required

Candidate Must Have;

• 4+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• 2+ years experience with ASP.Net using VB.Net
• Thorough knowledge of Java-script for client side programming
• Thorough knowledge N-tiered development and Object Oriented Programming

The Ideal Candidate will also have;

• 6+ months experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005
• 1+ year experience with SQL Server reporting services
• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Full Project Life Cycle experience
• Experience in both VB.Net and C#
