> Job Responsibilities:

> The Engineering Team Manager will be responsible for a team of

> technical engineers, and will primarily responsible providing

> leadership, planning and allocating workloads, directing and coaching

> team members and managing the performance of the team.

>

> The role will include the following responsibilities:

> Leading network design and security engineers from a technical

> perspective; Ensuring the team has the required technical tools and

> knowledge to conduct all aspect of network engineering and providing

> escalation for Operations technical support; Assisting in the

> financial performance of the team through accurate budgeting, vendor

> management, and forecasting for growth and technology migration.

> The Engineering Team Manager is responsible for the design, planning

> and delivery of scalable, manageable and resilient support platforms

> across varied network technologies.

>

> Required Skills:

> Possess strong leadership traits and attributes;

> 7+ years experience in network engineering with a focus on external

> connectivity, market data services and managed service providers.

> Senior technical manager experienced in firewall infrastructure

> engineering Broad experience of network security architectures and

> technologies and across core, metro, VoIP and WAN networks in an

> environment involving multiple protocols.

> Successful track record of delivering complex technical network

> solutions in line with time, cost and quality requirements; Ability to

> interact and communicate across all levels of the organization backed

> by strong relationship building skills

>

> Desired Skills:

> Background in Internet connectivity, routing (BGP), load balancing and

> remote access.

> Network security focus with a familiarity in Cisco infrastructure &

> products Knowledge of NIPS, NAC and applicable Network Security

> technology Senior technical manager experienced in firewall

> infrastructure engineering Experience in Financial and/or Banking

> Sector.

>

> Minimum Educational Requirements:

> College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or

> Business Management

>
