IMD IT: Project Manager - AVP, 120 base plus bonus

> Must have asset management exp, specifically - portfolio accounting,

> portfolio consolidation, performance calculations, management trading

>

> Responsibilities:

> * Project Manager on multiple ongoing projects relating to IMD

> business (manage a list of projects relating to front and middle

> office systems in IMD).

> * Full Information Technology project lifecycle management

> (startup through deployment)

> * Management of assigned projects or responsibility for specific

> project components, such as Project Charters, business requirements

> documents, testing plans, migration planning and procedure updates

> * Develop and maintain project schedules and milestones

> * Detailed coordination between multiple IT groups and interaction

> with all project constituents (Business, Operations, and Trading)

> * Manage priorities, issues, risk mitigation and change

> * Provide feedback to the business on a bi-weekly basis (at a

> minimum) on the status of a project.

>

> Requirements:

> * Detail and 'results' oriented with a structured approach to

> planning and organization

> * Strong communication (verbal & written) and influencing skills

> * Hard working, self motivated and assertive

> * Knowledgeable of front office/trading operations and current

> technology architecture / systems

> * Skills in Microsoft Office, ability to create documents and

> presentations, develop spreadsheet cost models, ROI analysis and

> project justifications

> * Ability to create and present executive level reports and

> presentations

> * Ensure collaboration efforts with IT teams are successful

> * Ability to build relationships and influence others

> * Foster team building. Able to manage relationships with people

> of diverse backgrounds

> * Develop business requirements, and with the technology team

> transform these requirements into technical specification for IT

> builds.

> * Capture current business workflow and processes, and re-design

> for future state.

> * Ability to manage multiple projects from multiple constituents

> at the same time.

>

>

> Business Experience and Education:

> * BS/MS/MBA (finance, management information systems) or

> equivalent experience

> * Eight to twelve years progressive work experience in a capital

> markets organization

> * Four to five years of prior project management experience

> required

> * Experience working with portfolio management groups and trading

> areas if possible

> * Knowledge of regulations relating to trading (i.e. OATS)

> * Previous work experience in leading and managing complex

> projects

> * Industry certification (NASD Series 7) a plus

> * Project management certification and PMO experience a plus

> * Knowledge of domestic and international equity trading,

> workflows and regulations.
