Project Manager responsible for managing the installation of their call center software. This role has an external client facing focus. The position requires 30% travel. Candidates should be familiar with telephony software (pbx/CTI/VOIP)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering/management discipline or equivalent experience. PMP or CAPM a plus.

Skills and Experience:

A minimum of five (5) years working in the telecommunications industry with, at least two years of experience managing installation projects and/or systems integrations. Experience in managing related application consulting engagements a plus. Thorough knowledge of CTI and telephony applications, PBX switches, ACD, IVR and Microsoft Software applications. Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with strong leadership skills to work with all levels and disciplines within the organization. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills required; must have a strong customer focus and good technical writing skills. The ability to travel up to 30%

Position Summary: (briefly describe the major functions)

Acts as customer liaison to all Verint resources for complex system sales and installations. Coordinates the proper utilization of all Company resources in order to ensure timely and successful installation of purchased solutions. Ensures customer satisfaction throughout the installation process. Develops procedures and documentation to effectively utilize internal resources.

Principal Job Duties:

1. Establishes partnering relationship with our customer. Acts as customer "advocate" to coordinate all necessary internal resources.

2. Develops, maintains and communicates the Project Implementation Plan. Works with installation management to oversee all aspects of product delivery.

3. Develops specific customer Project Plan and Site Preparation Guide and manages the customer through these processes.

4. Works closely with the customer and Business Operations to oversee all aspects of the installation.

5. Leads the resolution of any project related issues. Ensures customer satisfaction.

6. Assists in the development of department policies and procedures.

7. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
