Summary: The responsibility of the group is to develop tools to enhance Fixed Income sales people's marketing capabilities. This encompasses a wide range of financial instruments that includes FICC cash, derivatives and convertible bonds. Functions to be supported include, but are not limited to: Integrate pricing and offering flows from trading desks to our sales platform. Integrate internal and external market data sources to our sales platform. Integrate analytics from both internal and external analytics systems to our sales platform. Cross-reference any client profiling data available within and outside of the firm to help sales people target client calls effectively. Principal Responsibilities - Provide hands-on management of various product line rollouts and work closely with front office sales users Participate in functional specification, technical specification and design reviews. Develop client-side components and application functionalities in C# / .NET for deployment in Microsoft XP environment. Develop server-side components in C++/Java in UNIX/LINUX environment. Write technical design documents. Support applications deployed. Experience / Skills - Requirements: At least 3 years of strong programming experience in one of C++, Java, or C#/.NET Good problem solving / analytical skills. The following skills are a plus: Asynchronous distributed object programming experience. Object-oriented analysis and design. Sybase or other RDBMS programming experience. Good communication skills to work with front office users. Fixed income product line experience.
