Position: QA/QC Analyst - 2 openings NYC - IMD

Functional Title: Analyst/Sr. Analyst for Asset Advisor

Open to Sr Analyst or Analyst depending on talent, prefers someone with

2-3 years experience

Base range 70-80 or so

Responsibilities:

The position is for a Sr. QA/QC Analyst who will be a member of the

IMD-Application Governance team. This candidate will be responsible for

the creation and execution of test plans and test cases on

Brokerage/SOX, client facing statements and financial asset allocation

applications within the Portfolio Advisory Group. This candidate must

be able to generate clear, concise test documents from business

requirements and/or technical specifications and coordinate UAT efforts

with internal and external groups. They must be able to derive business

requirements when documentation is unavailable. Candidate needs to be

outgoing, self-starter and able to work with offsite team members. This

position requires 3+ years of testing experience with at least 3 years

experience in brokerage type financial applications. Candidate must be

able to communicate clearly all project status and issues with team

leads as well as with other project members on a regular basis. Member

must be able to work independently in a fast-pace environment, sometimes

working on multiple projects. Weekend and overtime hours may be

required.

* Strong communication and follow up skills

(verbal/written).

* Ability to decipher requirements and test scope when

documentation is unavailable

* Work independently. Attention to details.

* Hard working, self motivated, and assertive

* Excellent organizational skills

* Capable of facilitating and leading meetings

* Skilled in Microsoft Office, ability to create document and

presentations, develop spreadsheets

* Project Management skills to be able to create a clear project

timeline and testing scope

* Proficient in Visio to chart data flows or application logic

* Ability to create/present executive level report and

presentations

* Strong understanding of SDLC (e.g. CMM)

* Experience access data via SQL queries or other DB utilities (DB

Artisan, Toad, etc.)

* Work in a multi-timezone environment, supporting offshore

resources

Business Experience & Education:

* BA/BS Required

* 3+ years QA/IT experience in the financial industry with respect

to brokerage applications.

* QA/QC certification a plus (from PMI, QAI, IIST or other

organization)
