Senior Client valuation Sr. Developer/Architect

Summary

The responsibility of the group is to develop tools to support operations, sales and traders across a range of products for customer valuations function.

Our technology team is in the process of integrating multiple valuation platforms into single strategic platform, that is being developed a multi-tier architecture based on Java, Web and proprietary technologies.
We are looking for a senior technical resource to provide technical direction and support for the project. The prospective candidate would work closely with lead developers and junior developers providing mentoring and sharing architecture know-how.

Principal Responsibilities

Responsible for working closely with users in gathering requirements.
Contribute to the technical design of the project.
Design and develop components for new valuation platform
Write technical design documents
Design, develop, maintain and support CPS valuations platforms

Experience/Skills

Strong Java with over 8 years experience including multithreading, synchronization, and core Java design
Over 5 years of web development experience including JSP, Servlet, JavaScript, AJAX, HTTP & HTML and experience with open-source technologies such as Struts, Tomcat, Hibernate
Solid object-oriented analysis and design
Sybase or other RDBMS programming experience
Expereince with testing frameworks
