Software Engineer - (US-NJ-Parsippany)

Compensation: $55K - $70K

Travel Required : Upto 25 %
Develop technical specifications from functional specifications;
• Code software modules based on technical specifications;
• Create and execute software & system tests (unit testing, integration testing, acceptance testing);
• Maintain previously developed product code, as required;
• Comply with corporate and client change management, quality management and standard operating procedures;
• Occasionally, travel to client locations to support the integration of the developed software;


Skills
• Strong programming knowledge of relational databases (E/R diagrams) and SQL; Oracle knowledge is preferred;
• Outstanding programming skills in C, C++, Java or VB are needed;
• Thorough understanding of software project life cycle, structured programming and/or object-oriented design;
• Ability to consistently deliver quality work that meets established coding standards; Ability to accurately estimate development efforts;

Experience
• Prior programming experience designing, coding and testing software systems using integrated development environments is required;
• Prior experience with relational databases application development and SQL database programming is needed; PL/SQL experience highly preferred;
• A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is required; a Master of Science is a plus;

* B.S or M.S. in computer Science from reputable university
* Have excellent communincation skills
* Passion for programming
* Be local, available and interested in position
