Sr Trading Support Analyst - - must have SQL and trading support

experience- 90 or so base plus bonus

In NYC

Responsibility

* Support, integrate, and maintain current trading systems.

* Development and integration of new functionality, data extracts

and reporting capabilities within trading and associate systems.

* Interfacing with Traders, Portfolio Managers, Business

Operations, Compliance Technologist, and Vendors.

* Serve as a key contact point with local business users,

gathering requirements and oversee/support daily operations

* Participate in change management, case testing, and quality

control

Requirements

Technical

* Overall IT experience 5-10 years

* Development experience +5 years

* Sybase and strong Transact-SQL + 5 years is must

* MSFT SQL Server is desirable

* Solaris / Unix OS familiarity

Business

* Macgregor XIP OMS Experience + 3 Years is must

* OASYS experience is desirable

* Knowledge of the various trading exchanges and platforms

* Understanding of Front, Back, and Middle offices for an Asset

management firm

* Understanding of Trade Life Cycle from Order Entry to Settlement

* Fundamental understanding of all the Data points like STP,

Exchange Rates, Ratings, Etc. is desirable

* Knowledge of the any portfolio management system is big plus

Other Skills

* Must be willing to adopt new agile development strategies and

ways of improving software quality and accuracy

* Demonstrated problem solving / trouble shooting ability

* Strong communication skills

* Positive attitude and team oriented

* Can work independently (self starter)

* Willing to work under pressure and take ownership of problems

and resolving them
