EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

1. A minimum of 1 year experience in a corporate environment. Experience in the financial services industry or as a consultant to the financial services industry or hedge fund experience is required.

2. A business or computer science Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is desired.

3. Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills.

4. Some US and global travel may be required.

This position focuses on designing, developing, implementing and maintaining data interfaces between the company and Prime Brokers, Counterparties, Banks Clients and third party systems/ providers. It will entail supporting both a legacy application and it’s Front to Back application. Working with a global team of Broker Liaisons, Data Delivery Support people and Developers, this individual will be responsible for aspects of the data interfaces for clients located around the world.

A. Technical Expectations/Professional Practices:

1. Candidates must have demonstrated ability to work with external clients, vendors and brokers as well as developing good working relationships with each of these groups.

2. Candidates must have good business analysis skills. They will be required to provide specifications to the development team for new interfaces that are required for various data interfaces.

3. Candidates must have good problem solving skills. They will be required to research problems reported by their user community to determine if an actual problem exists or additional training is required. When actual problems exist, they need to, as appropriate, recommend workarounds until an actual resolution can be implemented.

4. Candidates must have the ability to explain difficult concepts to users in terms that they can easily understand. This should include developers, technical users and non-technical users.

5. Candidates must understand financial products and strategies that a hedge fund might use. Working knowledge of trading, risk and processing characteristics of equity, fixed income and OTC products.

6. Candidates must have knowledge of the financial services industry, its products and practices, and a strong interest in further development and learning.

7. Candidates must have an affinity with Information Technology and basic technology knowledge.

8. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

9. Assist with designs reviews for content and usability.

10. Support system testing and beta programs.

11. Work closely with developers to ensure that the requirements are understood and that the designs support the requirements.
