Job Description:	They are moving quickly Business Intelligence Analyst _ 85-100K We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to be responsible for a establishing and supporting an Oracle based business intelligence capability to support the Finance department. Specific responsibilities include: · Rapid gathering of user requirements and deployment of initial implementation of Oracle Business Intelligence tool to meet those requirements · Defining database requirements and creating Oracle database on server as well as definition, design and deployment of appropriate data load and balancing reports to ensure data integrity · Support of users, including training, working with users to define standard reports; standard report design and deployment; answering application based queries generated by user community via help desk calls · Extension of the tool during 2006 within time and budget constraints · Working with user community to define requirements for a company wide finance business intelligence tool capability · Building the business case for that tool, in conjunction with user community · Participating in selection of the toolset to be employed and participating in its deployment The ideal candidate shall have demonstrated experience and/or skills in the following areas: Excellent communications ability. Experience in deploying and supporting Oracle's business intelligence tool and experience with Oracle databases. BI tool experience to include tool deployment, tool use (and training/supporting users in its use) and understanding user needs and translating them into actionable deployment plans. Project management experience. PMI credentials are a plus. Desirable skills and experiences include financial and/or publishing background. Strong expertise in and knowledge of Hyperion.
