Job Description:	CONTRACT for 6 MONTHS - MORTGAGE BACK SECURITIES SETTLEMENTS SPECIALIST RATE TO CONTRACTOR IS OPEN Individual will be responsible for complex duties associated with mortgage allocations and TBA trade settlement. Responsibilities/Duties: Senior Responsibilities Core Functional Responsibilities § Review and resolve complex failed trade issues including: pool fails, pairoff fails § Execute and track Trade Assignments for eligible trades prior to allocation period § Execute and track Round Robin Agreements where possible to alleviate failed trades § Manage the allocation process for pools during allocation periods § Perform back up supervisor responsibilities including management reporting § Train junior members of the group on all job functions § Assist in testing and implementation of new system functionality and new procedures § Coordinate and review monthly required procedures including Open TBA Reporting / Pair Off Reporting § Run and review daily trade reconciliation report for exceptions § Develop improved processes and initiatives where possible General Responsibilities § Input trades into (Company) systems - InvestOne (I1), Advanced Trading Platform (ATP), Autoturn, and Automated Trade Settlement System (ATSS). § Confirm trades with brokers. § Maintain trade, pool changes and broker confirmation records. § Compile special reports via Excel for brokers, custodians and management. § Ensure trades are sent to custodian banks in a timely manner. Competencies: § In-depth knowledge of the mortgage trade allocation and settlement processes § Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. § Strong computer skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. § Strong analytical and problem solving skills. § Five plus years of related experience. § Analytical skills to enable quick resolution of issues
