The Account Manager is responsible for the accounting of a dedicated number of Hedge funds. Accounting includes preparing financial statements on a weekly or monthly basis, independent pricing and reconciliation with third parties such as banks, brokers and custodians. The Account Manager is supported by one or more fund administrators.

The Account Manager is responsible for:

• Team leader: supervision, planning and controlling efficiency of the team;
• Communication and maintaining a good relationship with customers and other related parties;
• Financial statements are timely issued and in conformity with quality standard;
• Review of financial statements;
• Training on the job;
• Trouble shooting;
• Monitoring directors’ responsibilities;
• Corporate action such as preparing board resolutions, organizing annual general meetings.

The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Professional accounting designation preferred, but not required;
• At least 4 years experience in the hedge fund community;
• Knowledgeable of various financial products and the accounting treatment thereof;
• Knowledge of incentive fees and incentive allocations;
• Experience managing a team of employees;
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with investment managers, brokers, auditors, and other related parties.
