***2ND SHIFT hours are 1:00p.m. to 9:30p.m.***The incumbent is responsible for the processing and support of complete, accurate, and timely valuation and financial statements for large and complex daily and monthly valued Hedge Fund clients as well as the resolution of any problems that arise during the normal valuation processes , and the communication of this information to all interested parties. S/He will be supporting a mix of multi-billion dollar institutional clients with at least one/generally tow clients in our top 100. S/He must understand all standard client accounting/reporting requirements and be able to leverage his/her knowledge of our system (training provided) and services to provide solutions to unique client requirements. S/He will have consistent client contact with mid level as well as contact with senior level client staff and must be able to address their issues/challenges in an effective fashion. S/He must develop a strong understanding of all groups. S/He will be responsible for timely and accurate trade settlements and the full investment of cash balances. S/He must use her/his understanding of our business in order to appropriately manage the risk inherent in relationships and our overall business. S/He will need to provide limited training on specific processes to A&R Specialists I.

The quailed candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred or comparable work experience. S/He will have a very good knowledge of securities and trust accounting theories and practices and be very familiar with PC applications and core on-line systems. S/he should possess strong analytical and communication skills and be able to work independently. S/He should have very strong client servicing skills with a focus on exceeding client needs and requirements. S/He must be able to work under significant pressure while adhering to constantly changing strict guidelines/deadlines. This position requires 1+ years of relevant securities/trust experience or proven competency as an A&R Specialist I.
Candidate Must Have :
* Bachelor's Degree Preferred
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Strong knowledge of securities and trust accounting theories and practices
* At least one year of prior experience in securities and/or trust accounting
* Ability to work 2nd shift 1PM to 9:30PM

This positions pays an additional shift differential of 10% for the hours of 1PM - 9:30PM (total hours 37.5/wk.). This is a non-exempt position.
