Job Description:

Candidates MUST have strong SQL skills. For the right candidate they can go to 90k base.

Key Duties

On a regular and ongoing basis, the Employee shall perform the following tasks:

1. Implement BFT's software

2. Upgrade installations of BFT's software

3. When required, assist with pre-sales activities, and the general running of the office.

The duties above are not exhaustive, but cover the main duties which BFT believes are required in order to meet the Key Responsibilities.

The implementation and upgrade duties must be performed as set out in the procedures provided by the Client Services Director. However, in summary, these duties typically comprise:

Implementation

Pre-Implementation

· Research and analyze business requirements

· Research and analyze client application requirements

Implementation

· Use appropriate internal systems

· Use company procedures and documentation

· Plan projects

· Configure Schema (i.e. define the client's business structure in the TDP database)

· Install Oracle, BFT's software and database at client's site

· Configure BFT software to provide functionality required for that client

· Test the installation

· Resolve outstanding issues, which may include specification of changes and installation of new software

· Handle complex implementations

· Communicate with clients

· Maintain client confidence

· Co-ordinate Client, Prime Broker and Fund Administrator

· Utilise 2nd line support

· Train and support clients

· Complete/finish tasks

Post-Implementation

· Handover to support and account management

· Upgrades

· Analyze installation at client

· Analyze client specific requirements and expectations

· Create project plan for client

· Perform upgrade to UAT environment

· Test UAT environment

· Arrange for testing by client

· Apply upgrade to live system

· Assist client with issues

· Handover to support

Work must be co-ordinated where appropriate with the Support staff in London, Hong Kong or New York, including execution of daily handovers. Issues encountered in implementation or upgrades that cannot be readily solved should be raised and discussed at the earliest opportunity with your manager. Appropriate internal systems must be used for Implementation projects and documents must be completed and filed at each stage of the process.

The timely and satisfactory:

1. Performing of implementations and upgrades to the standards required within the schedule agreed with the client.

2. Identification of improvements to processes and procedures for improved quality and lower cost.

Performance Measurement Criteria:

· Productivity and quality in execution of duties and responsibilities.

· Developing BFT's reputation and presence in USA.

· The satisfaction level of BFT's users, prime brokers and fund administrators in relation to the users to whom you have provided services.

· Completion of documentation on installations, use of appropriate internal systems.
