Position Specifics

Position Location: Midtown Manhattan, NYC and Princeton, NJ

Duration: 6-month duration

Rate: commensurate with experience

Position Responsibilities

The individual will work with IT and business staff to implement trade processing systems that interface with the Murex MXG 2000 system.

The individual will have a key role in ensuring that applications are implement to support trades and secondary transactions processing for many financial products including FX and FX options, equities and equity derivatives, fixed income products including listed and OTC derivatives..

The individual's responsibilities will be to:

- Understand existing business requirements and technical specifications.

- Understand existing XML schemas, work with XML data in order to implement applications.

- Implement applications in Java and XML

- Test and support applications.

Requirements

Required	4+ years	Communications Skills - Excellent written and verbal communications skills, oral and written. - Excellent system design and analysis skills; - Excellent ability to adapt to new environments and technologies; - Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline; - Candidate MUST have a strong dedication to understand the business requirements, understanding the complexities of multi-tier technical implementation projects, and getting projects completed on-time;
Required	4+ years	Development/Implementation Experience: One or More of: - Java and J2EE - Microsoft .NET C# or VB.NET - Enterprise Messaging application development in C, C++, Java, or C# with products such as Web Method Broker, JMS, MQ Series, Tibco Rendezvous or similar. - Integration Products such as Web Methods Integration Server, Tibco Business Works, Sonic Studio, WebLogic Integration or similar.
Required	3+ years	XML Data Experience - Heavy use of XML: Understanding XML Data files, Creating XML Files. - Knowledge of XML Schemas and DTD's. - Preferred XSL, Xpath, and Xquery, - Preferred: FIX and FIXML
Preferred	3+ years	Capital Markets Knowledge and Experience: - Experience with Buy-Side firms - Equities and Equity Derivatives - Fixed Income: Bonds, Repurchase Agreements, Futures, Options - Interest Rates Derivatives: IR Swaps
Preferred	3+ years	Solid database experience: - Oracle preferred - Strong SQL skill sets
Preferred	1+ years	Murex: - Implementation and/or support of Murex MXG2000 2.2.11
Preferred	1+ years	Web Methods: - Integration Server
