Job Description:	Project Accountant Position October, 2006 Primary Responsibilities: § Work with project managers to prepare project proformas and budgets § Work with legal and financial offices to monitor contracts and execution of payments § Author detailed budget progress reports, variance reports, and cash flow reports § Track pay requisitions, requests for information, change orders and schedules § Work with Project Managers to evaluate and negotiate change orders § Maintain quality standards throughout the project Position Requirements: § BS in Business Administration, preferably Accounting § Familiarity with proformas, financing, real estate development, and construction § Excellent accounting and financial skills § 3-6 years of work experience, preferably in real estate, the construction trades, or not-for-profit environment § Ability to communicate effectively with clients and navigate complex client organizations § Excellent oral and written communication skills § Ability to work in a team environment § Excellent technology skills (Excel, etc.) are required § Knowledge of Timberline, including Job Costing § Familiarity with New York City government and the not-for-profit sector a plus
