Job Description:	Sallary depending on experience Job description: "Summary: System administrative functions such as Linux/Unix installation, script writing, creating secure NFS shares, adding and removing users, adding / removing applications to startup procedures, and configuring network devices, ports, and protocols. Perl/shell scripting and debugging Troubleshoot and fix DNS, DHCP and NFS issues Monitor and report resource consumption (disk, network, CPU) Document standards and practices Make small modifications to tools written in HTML, DHTML, Cascading Style Sheets, JavaScript and SQL Install kernels and patches; install and configure Open Source and custom developed applications. Provide regular status for relevant activities to customers and management Experience/Skills: The candidate should also meet these additional requirements: A solid understanding of a Linux/Unix-based operating system; understands paging and swapping, inter-process communication, file system concepts, can use performance analysis to tune systems; networking. Strong inter-personal and communication skills; At least 2+ years of relevant experience Experience with TCP/IP administration including subnetting, DNS/QIP and configuring Linux/Windows networking Familiarity with fundamental distributed computing environment concepts. Experience with NetApp/OnTap administration History of successful interaction with customers Ability to solve problems quickly, completely and calmly. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must be able to sustain a high rate of workflow and work on multiple projects. Appreciates and thrives in a collaborate and small team environment
