Job Description:	DEPARTMENT: Retail Development Group REQ #4041 FUNCTIONAL TITLE: Project Lead/Senior Programmer SALARY: Market CORPORATE TITLE: Exempt LOCATION: Secaucus, New Jersey/ NYC from Jan. 2007 TRAVEL: Yes (see notes) very limited POSITION OVERVIEW/MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE: This is a highly visible and well recognized project leader position in The client Web Development team. New hire will be responsible for project leadership, technical analysis, architecture, and hands-on development of The client Mutual Funds Retail Web Applications. The candidate will be involved in each stage of the project lifecycle of web applications, back end interfaces and framework components. The candidate will be involved in technical design, architecture, technology research and upgrades. The successful candidate will be leading a small team (3) of developers with primary responsibility for technical design and development efforts in a highly dynamic and demanding environment. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum six years experience in distributed and web-based systems. Minimum three years of comprehensive web development experience using .Net framework (1.1/2.0). Minimum 1-2 years experience in leading development of the large applications. Expert understanding of Object Oriented analysis and design. Expert understanding of application design and development for the Microsoft platform: C#, ASP.Net, SQL Server 2000/2005, XML, XSLT, Java Script and DHTML. Strong relational database design and development skills, SQL/TSQL, stored procedures, back end interfaces. Experience in data warehousing, data manipulation and OLAP reporting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). DESIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & WORK EXPERIENCE Experience in the Financial or Banking industry, Engineering and Deployment experience in IIS environment, Solid MS Visio/Project skills. Design Pattern and Rational Unified Process exposure is a plus. Experience with Content Management Systems is a plus. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: REQUIRED: Candidates should have BA or BS DESIRED:
