Job Description:	3 POSITIONS IN STAMFORD, CT C# developer with financial services experience C#/Java developer with financial services experience C#/VB junior developer with financial services experience Provide business analysis and programming expertise within an assigned business unit/area, usually as a member of a project team, in the analysis, design, and development of business applications. Coordinate with stakeholders to identify user requirements, asses available technologies, and recommend solution options. Prepare detailed specifications, from which programs will be written, and design, code, test, debug, and document programs. Write programs from detailed specifications including program design, code, tests, debugging, and documentation. Develop business knowledge and relationships to integrate activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support project efforts. Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating and identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions. . Perform feasibility studies and translate requirements into an appropriate design. Identify conflicting business practices and integration issues and suggest alternative solutions. Qualifications Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience managing systems development in new computing architectures and environments Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. Good project management skills, operating as part of a team organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from the envisioning stage through implementation. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks. Typically requires a BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and/or technical training and 5 or more years of related experience in business application design, development, installation, and modification.
