Job Description:	Lead Oracle DBA / Apps DBA to join our IT team located at our corporate headquarters located in Melville, NY. Requirements: At least 5 years production support of large business critical Oracle 9i/10g databases. At least 2 years production support of large Oracle E-Business Suite 11i environment with Oracle Financials and Custom applications. Must have experience administering transactional and decision support databases. Backup, restore, and disaster recovery with RMAN. DB and application tuning. Experienced with Sun Solaris and/or AIX UNIX systems. Fluent in Unix shell scripting. Fluent with Unix editing tools (vi.etc;). Familiar with multi-terabyte system architectures and storage sub-systems. Possess excellent analytical, problem solving abilities. Produces consistently accurate work. Provide 24/7 production support. Open, manage, and resolve Oracle SR's. Development support (SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle development tools, third party products). Experience administering SQL Server 2000/05 databases is a plus. RAC and DataGuard experience is a plus. PeopleSoft experience is a plus. AD tools: Cloning, autoconfig, adpatch to include maintenance packs and family packs is a plus Experience configuring Oracle Applications to work with multiple application servers in a loadbalanced environment is a plus Implementation and migration experience is a plus
