Job Description:	· Sent: Monday, January 22, 2007 10:45 AM Subject: new job This will go to low 60's (no bonus) Position Equity Trade Support Associate Department Operations - Middle Office Job Responsibilities Support equity trading desk and portfolio managers Communication of broker trade allocations and confirmation of trade terms Trade notification to custodian banks, fund accounting agents and clients. Reconcile breaks between trading and accounting systems. Extract and monitor trade file transfers between systems Failed trade tracking and resolution. · Liaise among brokers, custodians, and internal Lord Abbett departments to effectively settle trades and resolve trade differences. Qualifications 2+ years experience working in a similar capacity Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills crucial Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Knowledge of XIP, PAM, and SWIFT desirable Personal Characteristics Team player. Ability to prioritize time and responsibilities Relationship building with counterparts at banks, brokers, and within Lord Abbett. Attention to detail. · Flexibility in day to day handling of activities Education Bachelor's degree preferable
