Job Description:	Business/Data Analyst - Compliance Tech - Jersey City Strong SQL and BA exp required - 105 base or so plus bonus for right talent Position: Work with Business and IT teams to identify and document functional requirements, data sources, mappings and Technical requirements as required to support Trade Surveillance and Money Laundering Prevention systems. Business Requirements: * Quick learner; strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deal with numerous tasks simultaneously and with frequently changing priorities. * Must be independent and creative in approach to problems and issues; assertive, tenacious, proactive. * Must be able to represent self and team with proper maturity and diplomacy to business and technical staff at many levels of the organization. * Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in documenting requirements and specifications. * 3+ years experience with financial markets and products. * Experience in brokerage Compliance or Anti-Money Laundering a strong plus. * Big 4 Consulting Experience a strong plus. * Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (analysis, development, testing, implementation), CMM, Six Sigma concepts and methodologies a strong plus. * Audit or Quality Assurance experience a plus. Technical Requirements: * Strong SQL * Strong data analysis * Development/programming background a plus * Experience creating diagrams/flowcharts with Visio, or similar tool. * Data modeling a plus
