Job Description:	Deal Manager - 115-120 base plus bonus Jersey City > Responsibilities: > > * Negotiate and coordinated contracts for the acquisition of IT products and services > * Work with Suppliers, business users and Lehman> '> s Legal department to secure optimal contractual arrangements for the procurement IT products and services > * Ensure negotiated commercial terms are accurately documented > * Provide effective contract administration related to the procurement of IT products and services > * Management of day-to-day Supplier communications and contract management for assigned categories and/or business units > * Ensure requirements of assigned business unit(s) are addressed in a timely and cost effective manner > * Ensure customer satisfaction through quality standards and measures by ensuring optimal price/performance in contract negotiations > * Develop and maintain Supplier relationships, which meet the Firm> '> s budgetary and business requirements > * Ensure that projects are approved and budgets are available and proper financial practices are followed. > * Ability to record key information (e.g. Contracts, spend, savings) using internal established systems > * Strong technical skills utilizing internal and commercial applications used by the firm for procurement and P&L approvals (PO's, invoices, and line item approvals) > * Resilience to internal and external challenges > > > Requirements: > > * 3+ years with progressive responsibility in contract negotiations > * Excellent supplier management, contract negotiations expertise with a wide variety of companies and excellent verbal and written communications skills > * Bachelor> '> s degree required, MBA a plus > * Superior customer service/relationship management skills > * Strong interpersonal and presentation skills > * Strategic thinker with strong attention to details > * Demonstrate an excellent track record of project implementation, administration or management > * A self-starter with ability to operate in an aggressive environment > * Must be a team player > * Ability to manage multiple tasks, as well as prioritize; time management> > * Financial Institution and Mortgage based negotiations a plus >
